Following the release of NFT Movie, Anthony Hopkins will launch a new NFT collection of his life as an artist.
On August 17, Orange Comet, an art + entertainment company focused on NFT casting and advertising services, announced a partnership with famous Hollywood actor, Sir Anthony Hopkins,
to launch its first NFT collection.
Orange Comet says it will be the first installment of the “Eternal Collection” NFT series, which will run for 3 days. During this time, collectors will have access to over 1000 unique images of the actor based on different archetypes.
Anthony Hopkins’ interest in Nfts started with his movie Zero Contact
Hopkins’ interest in creating an art collection immortalized his film career grew after the release of his film Zero Contact as an NFT on Vuele. His interest was so much that he even consulted with Snoop Dogg before making his first purchase.
Vuele is a Web3 creative studio platform that allows viewing and collecting limited edition feature films and NFTs content.
In an interview for Yahoo Finance, Hopkins said, “NFT is a blank canvas for creating artwork in a new format.” He emphasized that the NFT allows for the reciprocal sharing of artistic inspiration with others regardless of their age.
“I’m probably the oldest person in the NFT community and on social media, which proves it’s all possible at any age.”
According to Dave Broome, CEO of Orange Comet, the collection will be launched in mid-September on OpenSea. It will feature 10 of Hopkins’ best-suited character archetypes, such as Hannibal Lecter in “The Silence of the Lambs” and Odin in Marvel’s “Thor.”
The collection represents different aspects of the artist in his film career
Hopkins’ collection was built to allow fans and collectors to visually appreciate many aspects of the actor’s career.
Orange Comet CEO Dave Broome says it’s hard to create a stamped collection of all the artworks that Hopkins has worked on throughout his career.

Those attending the first day of the auction will be able to meet the artist during a welcome ceremony and lunch and also take home an autographed Hopkins art book.
On Tuesday, 1,000 unique images will be auctioned off, and 39 autographed Hopkins books will be randomly distributed to buyers with insight into his works and poems. Additionally, 5 buyers will be selected to join a Discord video call with the actor.
